The Drag Wing for the S550 GT350 is built to remove drag from the vehicle, making the car more slippery when going down the dragstrip or airfield. This reduction in drag comes from reducing the pressure drag on the back side of the Mustang. By reducing the pressure bubble, the car benefits from a reduction of drag. The wing is designed to work on the factory trunk and handle the downforce well, the rear spoiler or drag wing bolts on easily and improves performance this sports car can utilize on the drag strip or during half mile or mile events.
Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we optimized the airfoil for performance for the given build volume specific to the needs of high horsepower drag racers.
